The seed and the emotions

For the last 6 months I have had this quiet thought that seemed to just rest in my spirit.  I felt like God was trying to tell me this:

“The “seed” of a man contains elements that create balance in the emotional make up of women.  After about 6 months, I bring this thought up to my wife.  She asks where I was getting this from or what made me think this is true.

I said I really didn’t know, but it has been in my spirit for 6 months.  The thought in my spirit was also causing me to believe that the “seed” of men stirred up desire in the woman for her husband.

Not really sure why I never did this but, I looked online.

It was everywhere.

Below are a few excerpts from a few websites that popped up.  This very far from being an exhaustive study, and I’m sure my process of research is crude, but read and research for yourself.

While there are sites that say the studies are not conclusive, that the science is lacking.  But remember its this same science that they use to  package up Prozac, Zoloft, and other drugs that are bandaids at best.

Semen Is An Antidepressant

Vaginal exposure to semen elevates women’s mood.

Compared with women who “always” or “usually” used condoms, those who “never” did, whose vaginas were exposed to semen, showed significantly better mood–fewer depressive symptoms, and less bouts of depression. In addition, compared to women who had no intercourse at all, the semen-exposed women showed more elevated mood and less depression.

Semen: Nature’s antidepressant?
A controversial new study finds that women who regularly have unprotected sex are healthier, happier, and generally sleep better than women who don’t.
“The team says this suggests it is semen, not just sex,” that is raising some women’s happiness levels.
Estrone and oxytocin elevate mood, cortisol helps promote affection, serotonin is an antidepressant, and melatonin helps regulate sleep patterns.

Sperm is suspended in semen and isn’t absorbed by the vagina.  It makes up approximately 3% of the solution, but the rest of the seminal fluid has more than 4 dozen other chemicals.

I think its strange that we would plant seed and try and stop the fruit.  This earth is founded on sowing and reaping, but in this case we are like everyone else walking in the “way that seems right.”
His ways have always been different, mysterious, and intricately planned.  Nothing Jesus made was with out purpose.  Down to the smallest things, intricate and intentional.
How amazing is this, that God would emotionally calibrate the women back into balance as the two become one.
Why does a woman’s sex drive increase with her pregnancy?  Was this planned to have her desire sex, to have the seed of her husband emotionally re-calibrate her because her hormones are getting off due to the pregnancy?
What if the anti-depression, mood elevating, affection inducing, cocktail that God designed was a perfect one.  What if we have millions of women feeling “off” and going to doctors for depression and anxiety meds, when all we had to do was have free sex with our wives.
The goal of this is not to trap you in a net of scriptures and cause you to be obedient to be fruitful and multiply, but to show you that God made nothing with out purpose and His ways are truly better than our ways.
We lean on our own understanding in so many ways, and He lets us.  But His ways are planned, intentional, intricate, mysterious, and wonderful.
